  • World War Two
  • Imperial Japanese Navy (IJN)
  • Type B1 submarine (巡潜乙型潜水艦) - I-15-class submarine (伊一五型潜水艦)
  • one Yokosuka E14Y floatplane 零式小型水上機 (Glen) w/ 呉式1号4型射出機 (catapult)
  • I-27 - carried Kō-hyōteki-class midget submarine (甲標) in 1942. *removed 14 cm/40 11th Year Type naval gun (40口径14cm単装砲)
  • I-36 & I-37 - carried four~six Kaiten manned torpedoes (回天) in 1944. *removed 14 cm/40 11th Year Type naval gun (40口径14cm単装砲)
  • During the Guadalcanal Campaign, I-19 sank aircraft carrier USS Wasp with torpedo on 15 September 1942, & destroyer USS O'Brien (sank on 19 October 1942) and damaged battleship USS North Carolina.
  • I-19 was sunk on on 25 November 1943 by USS Radford with depth charges.
